Vivianne Simon Breaks New Ground

Vivianne Simon, Local 1295, is the first Woman of Colour to become a Business Rep at IAM Canada. 

Member’s from LL103 will remember Vivienne as a member of our latest contract negotiation team while she participated in LEADS, the IAM Women’s Mentoring Program under the guidance of 103’s Kim Valliere. Kim has moved to the position of Grand Lodge Special Representative.

Vivianne’s new role will be to liaison with local lodges, workers and employers, giving valuable support while guiding challenges and monitoring workplace policies and environments. 

We congratulate Vivianne as she continues her journey with the IAM.
