After 47 years service, Local 103 President Cyril Burke has retired from Dana Canada. Cyril moved to Cambridge, Ontario from Bell Island, Newfoundland as a young man. He was a constant voice for workers at Long Manufacturing / Dana Canada and always offered a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Among his accomplishments with our Union, Cyril lobbied for ‘Worker Rights’ at The House of Commons in Ottawa, Canada and at the United States Congress in Washington, D.C. His voice impacted local, national and international issues affecting working people, and he will be truly missed. We wish Cyril and his wife Lil, a long-lived, healthy retirement.
